Accessibility Statement
Paragon Consulting Services, Inc. is committed to ensuring that our website, paragon-csi.com, is accessible to the widest possible audience — regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance. We believe that accessible design benefits everyone and is a core part of building a quality web experience.
Our Commitment
We are actively working to improve the accessibility of this website in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Keyboard Navigation
All major site functions are reachable via keyboard without requiring a mouse.
Text Scaling
Content remains readable and functional when text is scaled up to 200%.
Color Contrast
We target a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text and 3:1 for large text.
Screen Readers
Pages use semantic HTML and ARIA attributes to support assistive technologies.
Measures We Have Taken
In building and maintaining this site, we have taken the following accessibility measures:
- Used semantic HTML5 elements (headings, landmarks, lists) to communicate page structure
- Provided descriptive
alttext for meaningful images; decorative images use emptyalt="" - Ensured all form fields have associated labels visible to screen readers
- Designed focus states that are visible for keyboard and switch-device users
- Avoided relying solely on color to convey information
- Ensured sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds throughout the site
- Used relative font units (rem/em) so text scales with user preferences
- Provided skip-to-content links on all pages
- Ensured all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard
- Tested core page templates with screen readers including NVDA and VoiceOver
Known Limitations
We are aware of some areas where accessibility can be improved. We are actively working on these and aim to resolve them in future updates:
| Area | Known Issue | Status |
|---|---|---|
| PDF downloads | Some older PDF documents may not be fully tagged for screen readers | Planned |
| Video content | Embedded third-party videos may lack captions or audio descriptions | Planned |
| Complex data tables | Some technical comparison tables may not have full header associations | In Progress |
| Mobile nav | Dropdown menus on mobile may require additional ARIA live region support | Planned |
Supported Assistive Technologies
We aim to support the following assistive technology combinations, which represent the most commonly used configurations among users with disabilities:
- NVDA + Firefox (Windows)
- JAWS + Chrome (Windows)
- VoiceOver + Safari (macOS and iOS)
- TalkBack + Chrome (Android)
We also support browser zoom up to 400% and high-contrast mode on Windows and macOS.
