Do you take fixed-price projects or only time-and-materials?
Both. For well-defined scope, we prefer fixed-price contracts so you have cost certainty. For exploratory work or ongoing maintenance, time-and-materials or a monthly retainer is usually the better fit.
Who owns the code when you’re done?
You do. All custom development deliverables are fully owned by the client. We retain no rights to code or work product developed under client engagements.
Can you maintain software you didn’t write?
Yes — and we do this frequently. We start with a code review and documentation pass to understand the existing system, then establish a baseline for ongoing maintenance and enhancement.
Do you provide staff augmentation?
Yes. If you need IBM i development capacity on your team on a contract basis — working under your project management and processes — we can provide individual developers or small teams.
Do you only modernize IBM i systems?
